Leeds United have endured a tumultuous ride since suffering relegation from the Premier League earlier this year, but then that is emblematic of the club's DNA.
Having fallen back into the Championship following three campaigns in the top-flight, the Whites started their summer transfer business at a snail's pace, with emphasis on the 49ers completing their comprehensive takeover from divisive owner Andrea Radrizzani.
And despite a mass exodus at Elland Road, with throngs of first-team stars fleeing the outfit after relegation, newly-appointed manager Daniel Farke has been working tirelessly to craft a squad capable of mounting a promotion bid, with the forthcoming encounter against Sheffield Wednesday the chance to clinch successive victories.
What is the Leeds team news vs Sheffield Wednesday?
Farke will be desperate to secure three points in West Yorkshire today, with Leeds failing to win their first three matches of the Championship term.
Leeds will be without Sam Byram after the nomadic full-back sustained an injury in last week's thrilling 4-3 win over Ipswich, while Stuart Dallas, Patrick Bamford, captain Liam Cooper and Daniel James are all sidelined.
New signings Djed Spence, Glen Kamara and Ilia Gruev will all be hoping to make the match-day squad following their late-summer acquisitions.
One man who will be hoping to retain his place is young Frenchman Georginio Rutter, who finally impressed in his forward role against the Tractor Boys last weekend.
Is Georginio Rutter going to start vs Sheffield Wednesday?
Leeds fell to defeat on penalties against League Two side Salford City in midweek, and while Rutter missed his spot-kick as the Whites fell to agonising defeat, he will be hoping for retribution against Wednesday as he looks to build upon his platform.
The 21-year-old was signed for the English club from Hoffenheim for a club-record £35.5m in January to combat the flagging season and lack of goal threat.
However, Rutter flattered to deceive and failed to score across 13 fixtures in the latter phase of last term, branded as a "non-entity" by LeedsLive journalist Beren Cross for his lacklustre performances.
Praised for his “quality” move and strike against Ipswich by The Athletic's Phil Hay, however, Rutter could now start to shine in Leeds white and play a central role this season, with his dynamic abilities in the offensive third potentially proving the difference against an Owls side that will be thirsting for a maiden point of the campaign after promotion from League One.
If Rutter maintains his form from last week, Xisco Munoz's side will find that to be quite the tall order; the £70k-per-week hotshot recorded a match rating of 7.7 – as per Sofascore – in the previous Championship match, complementing his goal with two key passes, three successful dribbles and by winning eight of his 15 duels – a livewire, very much in the thick of the action.
Although the summer at Elland Road has been one of profound change, Farke would be wise to keep the faith in Rutter and entrust his rising star with a prominent role.
It might just bear fruit as the Whites mount a charge to the upper echelon of the division.
Leeds United haven't exactly got off to a flying start on their return to the Championship, but a comfortable 3-0 victory over Millwall in their most recent outing shows that Daniel Farke's side are at least finding their feet.
The international break was clearly needed, and seems to have given the former Norwich City boss the chance to collect himself, before solving his side's problems. At The Den, it wasn't always easy, but the quality of Leeds' attack paid dividends as they earned their second win of the season in style.
Despite the victory, it's not all good news, though, with Farke confirming that one star is set to be out of action for an extended spell after suffering an injury in the build-up to the Millwall clash.
What's the latest Leeds United injury news?
Those at Elland Road were already forced to compete without both Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas before being dealt yet another serious injury blow in defence. The absences do not come at an ideal time, either, with the fixtures set to come thick and fast, particularly towards the festive period. The fact is, the last thing that the Whites needed was more bad news on the injury front.
Yet, as confirmed by Farke, the joy from the Millwall win was quickly quietened, with Djed Spence set for an extended spell on the sidelines. Farke said, via The Nottingham Post: "Yes, sadly sad news with Spence because Djed has done his lateral ligaments. He will be out for several weeks so we wait for further assessment.
"It seems like no surgery is needed but we have to wait for the further assessment. He will definitely miss out the next weeks. We will have to wait but to give you a timeframe for this but he's definitely out for a few weeks."
The news becomes even worse when you consider that Spence is only on loan at Elland Road from Tottenham Hotspur, and the Yorkshire club would, therefore, have hoped to get a full season out of him to judge if they should make a permanent move in 2024.
How has Djed Spence performed this season?
Djed Spence
It's a real shame for Spence, who would have been looking to get his Leeds stint going after the international break, having made just one appearance for the club prior to that.
With plenty of Championship experience under his belt, too, after making over 100 appearances in England's second tier, the Spurs loanee could have played a key part in kickstarting Leeds' season, who won just once in their opening four games, before defeating Millwall at the weekend. Instead, the full-back will be forced to watch from the sidelines.
When at his best, Spence has received high praise from the likes of Ian Wright, who said on the Wrighty's House Podcast, via The Nottingham Post: "I saw him after the game and said 'listen, my friend. You're on loan from Middlesbrough and I don't know what's happened there, because if you can't get into the Middlesbrough side, I don't know what's wrong, so I need to know the full story'.
"But let me say, that was one of the best right back performances I have seen for a very long time. A very long time. If we are talking about right-backs performing at an unbelievable level, we're talking Reece James and Trent (Alexander-Arnold). But I have not seen a combative, technical, swashbuckling performance like that for a very long time."
Glasgow Rangers manager Michael Beale underwent the biggest squad overhaul at the Ibrox side in recent years during the summer transfer window.
Having failed to secure a trophy during the 2022/23 season while watching rivals Celtic claim a treble indicated that change was needed at the Light Blues and time will tell whether the new arrivals can change the landscape of Scottish football in the coming months.
Failing to qualify for the Champions League group stages is a major disappointment and hope now lies in the Europa League, a competition which the Gers came so close to winning in 2022.
Who did Rangers sign during the transfer window?
Beale secured the services of nine new players over the summer, as Jack Butland, Leon Balogun, Danilo, Cyriel Dessers, Sam Lammers, Abdallah Sima, Dujon Sterling, Kieran Dowell and Jose Cifuentes arrived in Glasgow.
Coupled with the fact 11 players were either sold or left due to the expiration of their contract over the course of the last few months, it’s evident that Beale is trying to build his own team, with sentiment not coming into the equation regarding the departures of several first team players.
Despite bringing in various new faces, the club did miss out on several key targets, of which some would likely have improved the first team squad, most notably Harry Souttar, Auston Trusty and Morgan Whittaker and time will tell whether not making a more concrete effort to sign them could come back and haunt Beale.
The 42-year-old will definitely regret one failed move for a winger who was shining on the continent and could have added something extra to the Gers attacking department, that of Luis Palma, who in the end, did secure a move to the Premiership…
Why did Rangers miss out on Luis Palma?
The Light Blues first started showing an interest in Palma before the transfer window even opened, with Greek outlet Sportime claiming the club were keeping tabs on the player and had sent scouts to watch his performance for Aris Thessaloniki against Olympiacos and the report suggested that a potential move would cost the club €4m (£3.5m).
It was then reported in May that the Ibrox side had submitted an offer of £4.4m in order to sign the winger as they looked in pole position to lure him to Glasgow before the window even opened.
The bid was swiftly rejected, and the saga continued to persist throughout the remainder of the window before Beale moved on to other targets.
Honduras winger Luis Palma.
Palma did eventually get his move, and it transpired that Celtic managed to secure his signature for a fee of £4.3m, seemingly nicking the player from under Beale’s nose right at the end of the transfer window.
It represents a big, missed opportunity and the Honduran star will now get an opportunity to shine in Scotland and the manager may live to regret not making a more concrete effort to sign him.
How good is Luis Palma?
Last season for Aris, Palma registered 21 goal contributions across all competitions – 13 goals and eight assists – as he sparkled in Greece, and it was these performances which arguably drew interest from other clubs.
His manager Apostolos Terzis even hailed him for his outstanding campaign, saying: "Luis has done that all season. He has been a huge player for us. We know there has been a lot of interest in him and it's not surprising.
“Hopefully, playing in Europe next season will persuade him to stay with us.”
He will be playing Champions League football following his decision to join Celtic, yet Beale could have secured another Ryan Kent if he had made the move to the other side of the city.
The Englishman left Rangers following five seasons in Glasgow and during that time, he scored 33 goals and registered 56 assists across 218 matches, which works out at a goal or assist every 2.4 matches, a decent return from the winger.
Last season, however, saw his performances drop under both Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Beale, netting only three times throughout the whole season, and it was perhaps apparent that his heart wasn’t in it anymore, departing for nothing when his contract expired.
His pace and keen eye for goal are traits Beale has yet to replace and Palma would have been an ideal heir for the former Liverpool gem.
In the league last term, the 23-year-old ranked second in the Aris squad for overall Sofascore rating (7.12), while also ranking first for goals (11), shots on target per game (0.9) and successful dribbles per game (one) as he showcased his attacking talents and proved to be one of their most dangerous threats in the final third.
In comparison, Kent ranked in a lowly tenth spot for overall match rating (7.03) while failing to even crack the top five for league goals (three) or shots on target per game (0.7) and although he did finish first for successful dribbles per game (1.9), it was clear that his end product was poor, negating the impact of his dribbling skills.
Former Rangers winger Ryan Kent.
There is no doubt Kent will be a miss due to his ability to run at players and cause defenders nightmares, but his overall goal output over the previous 12 months wasn’t what it should be, and perhaps a move will work out well for both parties.
Beale could have signed Kent 2.0 in Palma, especially due to his wonderful statistics from the left wing last term.
It wasn’t to be for the 42-year-old, and he will see first-hand just how much of a talent the Honduran is when he begins to play for Celtic in the coming months.
The first Old Firm derby of the season takes place at Ibrox tomorrow and Palma could well make his maiden appearance for the club in the pressure cooker environment of one of the biggest derbies in the world.
If he sparkles under Brendan Rodgers, it will prove that Rangers suffered a huge transfer howler failing to pay just £4m to land him from the Greek side way back in May and there is no doubt he would have thrived under the former QPR manager.
Arsenal and manager Mikel Arteta are said to be eyeing a January transfer for one player who could be exactly what they're missing.
Who have Arsenal signed 2023?
The Premier League title contenders sealed deals for club-record signing Declan Rice, defender Jurrien Timber, forward Kai Havertz and goalkeeper David Raya – who cost north of £200 million in total.
Having enjoyed their most ambitious and productive summer transfer window in recent memory, certain squad members had to make way for room.
Indeed, Folarin Balogun, Granit Xhaka, Matt Turner, Auston Trusty, Pablo Mari, Kieran Tierney, Rob Holding, Nuno Tavares, Marquinhos, Nicolas Pepe, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Albert Sambi Lokonga all left north London either on loan or permanently.
So far, despite not playing at their very best, Arsenal have been justified in their decisions with four wins secured out of their opening five top flight matches so far this season.
The Gunners also play host to PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League tonight, as Arteta's side look to challenge on multiple fronts.
Who will Arsenal buy in January?
One position they were unable to shore up over the summer was further forward, as Arsenal opted to bring in Havertz as a makeshift option rather than signing a classic centre-forward.
Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah stand out as their only natural striking options. If injury were to befall either of the duo, it would arguably leave Arteta desperately short.
As such, there have been reports that Arsenal could move for a world-class striker in 2024. The likes of Napoli star Victor Osimhen, who has been free-scoring in Serie A, have been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.
Brentford striker Ivan Toney is also believed to be of interest to sporting director Edu and Arteta.
Ivan-Toney-Brentford
Journalist John Cross of The Daily Mirror, sharing news on the player's future, has an update concerning Arsenal's interest.
It is believed Arsenal are among the clubs "likely" to be in the mix for Toney and are eyeing a January transfer. The 26-year-old, who is currently serving a ban for gambling breaches, is set to return to action after the new year.
Toney is said to have admirers at the club, with Cross claiming his physical presence is something "you could argue Arsenal lack". It's added that they would have "almost certainly" bid for the England international before September 1's summer deadline day, had he not been banned.
How good is Ivan Toney?
Scoring 20 league goals in 33 appearances last season, Toney is a truly prolific marksman when at his very best.
Bees boss Thomas Frank, speaking to the press this year, hailed his "£100 million" star as a "remarkable" and "amazing" player.
“Ivan is amazing in many, many aspects,” Frank said.
“The way he copes with pressure and distractions is amazing. He’s been scoring goals, performing for the team and driving the team. He’s remarkable.
“I can only talk about the Ivan that I see every day around the place and he’s a fantastic person around the group. He’s got that unique emotional intelligence to be aware of all the players, and every staff member."
When it comes to transfers, Nottingham Forest are often one of the busiest sides in the Premier League these days, with Steve Cooper getting one reinforcement after another. And, that doesn't look likely to stop anytime soon.
During the summer window, the Midlands club welcomed a total of 14 arrivals, ranging from Divock Origi and Athony Elanga, all the way to Ibrahim Sangare, as they spent a reported €122m (£105m).
That said, so far, their business has looked incredibly smart, making the money spent more than worthwhile. Having played four league games in the league this season, Cooper's side have won twice, and lost twice, with one of those victories coming at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea. Winning six points from a possible 12 after facing three of the classic top six in the Premier League represents a solid start.
Now, Forest have reportedly turned their attention to January, with reports suggesting that they could return for one particular player when the winter transfer window opens.
What's the latest Nottingham Forest transfer news?
When January does come around, Forest will be hoping to be in a comfortable position to welcome additions without any relegation fears. And that could see them turn their focus towards Tom Watson.
According to Alan Nixon, the Midlands club are still interested in the Sunderland teenager, and could make another move for him in January, having reportedly failed to secure his signature in the summer transfer window.
A deal may prove to be more difficult at the start of next year, however, given that Watson has just signed a new contract at the Stadium of Light, placing the Black Cats in a stronger position to negotiate. Clearly willing to splash the cash, though, Forest could yet push on and sign their target. It's certainly one to keep an eye on.
Who is Tom Watson?
Still only 17-years-old, Watson made his debut for Tony Mowbray's Sunderland side last season, whilst also featuring heavily for the youth sides, making Forest's interest in the winger little surprise.
As of right now, Watson's focus will undoubtedly be firmly fixed on his Sunderland future, and earning further opportunities within the first-team. After scoring five goals, and assisting a further six in the U18s Premier League last season, having made 13 appearances, the young winger certainly looks ready for a chance, too. Now, it will just be about whether Mowbray feels that he is ready.
Watson is a prospect who has earned plenty of praise during his time at the Championship side, including from Sunderland academy manager, Robin Nicholls, who said, via The Northern Echo after the teenager signed a new deal:
“We are delighted to continue the journey with Tommy. He has been with the club since he was a young child and the signing of this first professional contract is a testament to the hard work and dedication of himself, his family, and the Academy staff.
"Tommy has shown himself to be an exciting and dynamic attacking player and has really kicked on since leaving school and joining the club full-time. He has been recognised internationally and has been part of several of the recent England U17 squads. We believe we have the right environment and pathway to ensure he gets many more opportunities."
Newcastle United have endured a stop-start introduction to the 2023/24 Premier League term but will now be hoping that their much-anticipated return to the Champions League can kickstart their seasonal exploits under Eddie Howe's stewardship.
Having dazzled en route to a top-four finish last term, the Magpies ended years of suffering under the influence of their new, affluent owners, and now look poised to cement a spot competing both for and within European football with regularity.
The Toon have lost three of their opening five league fixtures of the campaign but did pick up a much-needed victory last time out, defeating Brentford 1-0 at St. James' Park. However, at the San Siro against AC Milan, Howe's side will need to produce a first-class performance to emerge victorious.
A player well-known in those parts, Sandro Tonali, could well hold the keys to victory.
Will Sandro Tonali start vs AC Milan?
Newcastle enjoyed a lucrative summer of spending this year, bringing in prolific winger Harvey Barnes from Leicester City and signing talented youngsters Lewis Hall and Tino Livramento to bolster the full-back ranks, but it is £55m midfielder Tonali who will be at the centre of a tantalising affair in Milan.
The Italy international actually joined the Toon from Milan in July, and while he netted a debut goal just minutes into the season opener against Aston Villa – a 5-1 demolition that revealed Newcastle at their fluid best – he has not quite found his feet on English shores yet.
Indeed, after admitting that he found his move from his homeland to Newcastle challenging initially, he is now relishing life in England's North East, and will hope to produce a starring performance against his former club to really announce himself for the Magpies on the European stage.
How does Tonali's game rank across Europe?
A silky and elegant midfielder, Tonali is an adept ball player and a first-rate playmaker, capable of utilising his talents to slot the ball through the lines and effectively contribute to build-up play, praised as "incredibly gifted" by former Italy boss Roberto Mancini.
Sandro-Tonali-Newcastle
As per FBref, he ranks among the top 10% of midfielders across Europe's top five leagues over the past year for assists and the top 24% for progressive carries per 90, illustrating his creativity and knack for surging forward into promising openings.
The £120k-per-week gem was among those told to "wake up" by talkSPORT pundit Gabby Agbonlahor after a slow start to the campaign, but, in fairness, he has acclimatised to a new club in a new land and Newcastle have arguably endured the toughest start of any team in the Premier League, facing Villa, Manchester City, Liverpool, Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford already.
His innate ability to unlock defences could be crucial to bypassing a Milan backline already shown to be susceptible to incisive attacks this term, having just lost 5-1 in the Derby di Milano last weekend.
During that match, Inter's Henrikh Mkhitaryan – who is listed as a comparable player to Tonali on FBref – recorded a sensational Sofascore rating of 9.4, scoring two goals, creating two key passes and winning seven of his eight duels.
Tonali did not start for Newcastle against Thomas Frank's Bees on Saturday evening after picking up a slight muscular injury on international duty, but is fit and firing and will be expected to feature, potentially helping the club to begin their European voyage with a bang.
£63m club-record signing and star striker Alexander Isak was also relegated to the bench last time out, remaining an unused substitute, and has not scored since bagging a brace on the opening day of the term, but he will hope to start once again and it's entirely possible that Howe started Wilson in his stead in preparation for tonight's pivotal encounter.
Dubbed "the leader" by talent scout Jacek Kulig, the 5 foot 11 Tonali also knows the San Siro and the lion's share of its AC Milan players like the back of his hand; he knows their idiosyncracies on the pitch, just as well as their faults, and he could prove to be the difference-maker on a night of great importance for Newcastle.
The 23-year-old will have a point to prove after being shipped on this summer, and Howe will surely deploy him alongside the lethal Isak from the start in enemy territory.
Such a move could well give Newcastle the optimum chance of gleaning three points upon their two-decade-long wait for a taste of Champions League action.
Tottenham Hotspur will make the short four-mile trip across North London on Sunday to face bitter rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in what is the most anticipated North London Derby in years.
As one of the biggest fixtures in the season, it's a game that doesn't need anything more to make it a spectacle, but the brilliance of both teams this season suggests that this encounter could be fiery.
One of the men who'll undoubtedly be at the centre of everything Tottenham do is Son Heung-min. The South Korean captain is now the Lilywhites' new captain following the departure of Harry Kane in the summer and has since upped his game and taken more responsibility in the team.
A move to centre-forward has reinvigorated his game after a somewhat disappointing season last year, and under new boss Ange Postecoglou, he looks ready to take charge of Sunday's game.
With that in mind, we here at Football FanCast have taken a look into the stats to see how he usually performs against the Gunners and just what the Spurs faithful can expect from their new captain this weekend.
What is Son Heung-min's goal record against Arsenal?
Son has faced off against Arsenal 18 times in his career thus far, with 16 of those encounters coming in the Premier League and the other two in the League Cup. His first game against the Gunners came in a league game in November 2015, when he came off the bench in the 75th minute, and given that it was such a short cameo, he was unable to register a goal or an assist.
His first start in the derby would come a year later in his third appearance against the club; he would last 89 minutes and help the team to a 1-1 draw away from home but again fail to score or assist a goal.
Finally, at the ninth time of asking, Son scored a goal in a game away to Arsenal, helping the Lilywhites to a rare win away to the Gunners. That goal must've given him a confidence boost, as in the nine games that have followed that one, he has scored another four goals against the club, becoming a real thorn in their side ever since.

What is Son Heung-min's assist record against Arsenal?
As if five goals for a winger wasn't already good enough, the South Korean international has been able to provide just as many assists.
Similarly to his first goal against Arsenal, his first assist against the Gunners came quite late into his Spurs career. The assist itself is an odd one, as it wasn't a live pass or anything like that; instead, Son was fouled in the box by Rob Holding, and Harry Kane buried the resulting penalty. That said, it's registered as an assist, and that is what really matters.
While his first assist was ultimately in vain as Arsenal came from behind to win, every assist he has provided since has either come in a draw or a Spurs win – a lucky omen, perhaps?

What is Son Heung-min's head-to-head record with Arsenal?
Son has been instrumental to Tottenham's recent era of relative success, success that has seen them regularly competing in the Champions League – even making the final – and so it probably shouldn't come as a big surprise to read that his record against the Gunners is reasonably impressive.
Granted, he has lost more games against Arsenal than he has won, but only by one game and given that the Gunners have tended to win more than they lose in this fixture, that's pretty good going.
The 31-year-old has been a vital member of a team that has turned these games into genuine competitions and regularly beaten their neighbours, all while finishing ahead of them more often than not over the last six years.
What's more is that he has directly contributed with a goal or assist – or both – in four of the team's last six wins against Arsenal.

How many goals and assists does Son Heung-min have at the Emirates?
If there is one place that Spurs do not enjoy travelling to, regardless of the form they're in, is the Emirates. It doesn't matter if Arsenal are in a bad spot of their own or not; N7 has not been a happy hunting ground for the Lilywhites.
Unfortunately for Son, this is no different for him. He has played at the Emirates nine times in his career, won just once, drawn three times, and lost the other five.
That said, his personal record of goals and assists is quite good, all things considered, as two of each gives him a goal involvement every 2.25 games, which is an impressive statistic away to your biggest rival.

How many goals and assists does Son Heung-min have at home?
Playing Arsenal at home has been an excellent fixture for Son and Spurs since he arrived in N17 eight years ago.
The former Bayer Leverkusen star has won five of the nine games he has played against the Gunners at home, and from 2019 onwards, he has been a consistent producer of goals and assists in these fixtures.
His best performance came in May 2022, in a game many saw as essentially a playoff for fourth place. Arsenal went into the game in good form, but that didn't last as Son tore them apart, winning his team a penalty and scoring a goal of his own to wrap up Spurs' 3-0 win.
Fans will be hoping that he can reproduce a performance like that away from home come Sunday.

Who has Son Heung-min scored against the most?
Stepping away from the North London Derby now, who else has Son terrorised in the Premier League over the years?
Well, there is one team that have suffered from Son's excellence more than anyone else, and it's not even close: Southampton.
Yes, in the 17 games the dynamic Spurs star has played against the Saints, he has scored a frankly ridiculous 12 goals, and if that wasn't enough for whatever reason, he has also provided seven assists against the side – equal to his seven assists against West Ham United.
In all, Son has managed 19 goal involvements in just 17 appearances against the side, which translates to 1.1 every game. We reckon Southampton will be secretly quite pleased about not facing him again this season.
How many goals and assists does Son Heung-min have in the Premier League?
Matheus Nunes battles off Son Heung-min as Wolverhampton Wanderers beat Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
Son has now played 273 Premier League games and is fast approaching 300, which is a remarkable achievement in its own right and shows how good he has been since moving from the Bundesliga eight years ago.
That longevity is no accident, though; he has lasted so long at the top due to his unbelievable performances and output over that period. In all, he has scored 106 goals and produced 52 assists thus far, which means he is averaging a goal involvement every 1.7 games in the toughest league in world football.
He doesn't hide away in the big games either, as his tally of 52 assists means that just under 10% of them have come in North London derbies, which has to bode well for the weekend, right?
With Postecoglou at the helm and Son's new position up top, we wouldn't be surprised to see his numbers get even better by the time he reaches that 300th appearance.

How has Son Heung-min done this season?
Son Heung-min celebrates his goal for Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League against Bournemouth.
In the absence of Kane, Son has been made Tottenham captain, and to say that they have got off to a fantastic start under his captaincy and Postecoglou's guidance would be a huge understatement.
There is no doubt that, as things stand, Spurs are one of the form teams in the country- if not the continent – and Son is a massive part of that.
He has started all five of the team's league games, and in the first game he played up top against Burnley, he scored a hat-trick which is incredibly encouraging after a slight down year last season.
His underlying numbers, per FBref, are also excellent, with the rapid forward producing 3.73 shot-creating actions and 0.21 expected assists per 90.
Granted, the real challenge will be whether he can continue this form for most of the season, but so far, we haven't seen any reason to doubt him.
When is Arsenal vs Spurs?
Arsenal host Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, September 24th, at 2pm British Summer Time. As we mentioned earlier, this is already one of the biggest games in the English footballing calendar, and so the form and ambitions of both sides going into the game only amplify that more.
The hosts will want to use this game as a potential statement to the rest of the league that, after some early season hiccups, they are well and truly back as a genuine force in the title race this year. Plus, losing at home to Spurs is a surefire way to squash any morale picked up from their midweek win.
For Spurs, this game is the perfect opportunity to announce themselves as a serious team in the league after several miserable years under defensive managers. The game has also come at the ideal time for them as they are flying in the league, and morale among players and fans alike couldn't be higher – unless they beat the Gunners, that is.
It's going to be a cracking game; make sure you don't miss it.

He put on 55 with Asif Ahmed for the fourth wicket and then added another 71 runs with Nadif Chowdhury, before falling in the 47th over. Nadif struck three sixes and a four in his 35-ball 45.In reply, Khelaghar openers Robiul Islam and Mahidul Islam put together 108 runs for the opening stand. Both batsmen were dismissed in the 60s, but the middle-order couldn’t build on the good work. That meant Mausam Khan’s 44 off 41 balls at No. 7 went in vain as Khelaghar still fell well short. Abu Hider took three wickets, while Mahedi Hasan got two.Unmukt Chand’s second successive hundred helped Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club beat table-toppers Abahani Limited by 26 runs at the Fatullah Cricket Stadium.Batting first, Dhanmondi Club reached 256 for 8 in 50 overs, with Chand top-scoring with 101 off 138 balls that included eight fours and three sixes. He shared a 90-run opening stand with Shykat Ali, and an 81-run third wicket stand with Tanbir Hayder, before Dhanmondi went on to lose six wickets for 81 runs.Mashrafe Mortaza, who had just taken three wickets, then went out to open the batting for the first time in his List-A career. But he had a short stay, as did many of the other top and middle-order batsmen. The lower order fared much better with solid contributions but Abahani were limited to 230 nonetheless. Abu Jayed and Robiul Haque took three wickets each.Mohammad Naim’s stroke-filled 88 took Legends of Rupganj to a five-wicket win over Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club at the Shere Bangla National Stadium.Batting first, Doleshwar reached 257 for 5 in 50 overs on the back of Liton Das’ third century in the tournament. He struck nine fours and two sixes in his 126-ball knock. After putting on 69 runs for the first wicket with Imtiaz Hossain, Liton put together a 113-run second wicket stand with Fazle Mahmud (46). Prime Doleshwar lost four wickets in the last 10 overs, but quick bursts from Iqbal Abdulla (42* off 22) and Farhad Reza (29 off 22) ensured it didn’t hurt the finish.Chasing 258 to win, Naim and Abdul Mazid started very well with a 140-run opening stand. Naim struck six fours and five sixes in his 101-ball knock. Mazid was a lot more sedate, collecting 58 off 90 balls. After their dismissals, Mushfiqur Rahim (41) and Naeem Islam (31) took Rupganj closer before they won with eight balls to spare.
